BarterTrade Staking Round -2 starts tomorrow

Following a successful first staking round we’re excited to introduce our second round of staking starting from 1st April 2021 at 4 PM UTC.

This round is powered by the TosDis Permission-less and decentralized staking technology!

General Overview

First, it is pool based. Meaning it is a group activity with multiple contributors for each staking contract.

Second, it is flexible. Meaning you have the option to withdraw early, stake until full maturity, or withdraw somewhere in between. But be warned: leaving early comes at a cost.

Finally, it is strategic. Meaning if you stake until full maturity, and others in your pool withdraw early, you will receive a portion of their rewards.

There will be 2 staking pools:

Normal Staking — Stake BART and receive BART from the 1.2 mil BART rewards pool.

Liquidity Staking — Stake Liquidity in the BART-ETH pair on Uniswap and receive High Yield BART rewards from the 4.5 mil BART rewards pool.

The terms of each staking pool (rewards, lengths, minimum contribution, etc.) are detailed below.

Process to Stake

Normal Staking — Connect with your Wallet and Deposit your tokens into the BART pool on the TosDis Easystake platform. The particular BART pool can be found in the Verified Pool section under the Staking Tab (URL: https://app.tosdis.finance/stake ). Stake until you wish to withdraw, and then withdraw to get your principal and rewards automatically sent back to your wallet. Easy!

Liquidity Staking — Connect your Wallet on Uniswap and add Liquidity on both sides for the BART-ETH pair to your desired levels in the particular pool. Use the received LP Tokens to stake in the BART pool on TosDis Easystake platform. The particular BART pool can be found in the Verified Pool section under the Farming Tab (URL: https://app.tosdis.finance/liquid-mining) . This way you earn much higher returns in BARTs than in Normal Staking. Unstake anytime and get your rewards and principal sent back into your wallet.

Keywords and Unique Features

ToDis Staking has some unique features such as people can come and leave whenever they want to, of course the returns would vary accordingly. To gain the most especially from other’s early withdrawal and forfeited/redistributed rewards, staying till full maturity is recommended.

Time to Contribute

The staking pools will be opened at 4pm UTC on 1st April 2021, you can Stake anytime there’s no time limitation as such though there are several advantages of Staking early.

Full Maturity

Stake until full maturity to receive maximum rewards. Maturity will have a date and time assigned at which time full rewards will be available for withdrawal, so you will know exactly when you can withdraw to receive the maximum rewards.

In addition, if you stake until full maturity, you will likely receive additional rewards from those who withdrew early.

Forfeited and Redistributed Rewards

The Staking pools are like a pie. The project will place a predetermined amount of BARTs into each pool prior to launch. This number will not change. If stakers leave early, the pie does not shrink, they’ll just receive less, while the proportion given to remaining stakers will increase. They will also earn a share of rewards left behind by those who stopped staking.
