👀 Rewards — Public Test Phase

Our much anticipated event has finally arrived. Today BarterTrade launches its OFFICIAL PUBLIC TEST PHASE at 18:30 UTC

Platform being used

The main purpose of this phase is to test our TRADING ENGINE and the overall BACKEND EFFICIENCY of the platform. We will not be using the new UI yet, as we have decided our older UI is sufficient for the purposes of the various testing heuristics. We continue to tweak newer frontend overlays in the mean time, so as to implement our latest rebrand, theme and logo update later. Sneak peaks have been circulated and we will continue to share these throughout the test phase. Important to note that the newer UI you’ll experience during mainnet is far more feature-rich than the test phase UI.

Rewards

In parallel with our test phase we have planned to structure various activities to reward the community for feedback, interaction and engagement. The rewards budgeted for various activities over this time will total 200,000 $BART (valued at over 10,000 USD at the time of writing this).

These rewards will be allocated to certain activities as we progress through the TEST PHASE and prepare for MAINNET LAUNCH SOON.

How to Claim

What we hope to test

While we have had various public beta tests in the past, now it’s crunch time and we’re looking for all sorts of feedback directly from the community. The aim of the exchange is to be user friendly for all levels of traders, our objective is to have impenetrable security and an efficient order book process. We have already performed various audits in this regard and are confident in our product. We hope to share this confidence with you too.

Specific feedback may be related to

• Onboarding process, Email Flow
• General bugs,
• Features/Charts/Order types glitches,
• Security vulnerability heuristics,
• Notification settings,
• System lagging.
• ..and more
• System lagging.

In the backend we will be stress testing and mapping various performance analytics to fully understand our capabilities in an open environment. The metrics of these will be openly communicated (unless there is a security concern).

The test phase will be deemed complete when the dev team is pleased with their review process. We will announce a mainnet launch date upon successful completion of the test phase. We anticipate that if all runs smoothly during the test phase, we can expedite the main launch.
